We all think of angels as beautiful “child look” pure beings, with their nice wings and the only purpose to protect or look after us. Well, that is a concept most of all have since childhood. But what we don’t know is that angels are also a very popular type of tattoo for certain people who do love these beings and that Angel tattoos are often used in two different ways.

Some people believe an angel to be a protector or guardian, while others use them as a symbol to represent those who have passed on. Angels have been used in many different religions, often as a messenger from God. These beautiful creatures may bring forth important messages of hope or warnings of imminent danger. Many believe angels are the guardians of the human race and their mission is to save us from danger.

Some people use an angel tattoo as a way to have a guardian angel with them always. This is a type of protection they believe in and make them feel safe. These symbols are usually considered a symbol of their faith and beliefs. People use these beautiful beings as a way to feel closer to God. They believe a guardian angel will protect them from harm, both perceived and not seen. In many cases, myths and folklore have used guardian angels as a divine intervention, which saves a human without their knowledge of any danger. Some believe a guardian angel will step in and cause a situation to prevent you from being where a terrible accident will occur. They see losing their keys and being late as the intervention that kept them out of an accident that happened just down the road. Many believe that without a guardian they would surely fall to harm.

Others believe that an angel tattoo can be a remembrance to those they have lost, especially if the person gone is a child. Many people use them as symbols of family members who were lost too soon. It is often a way for parents to hold a vigil for the child that has gone before them; a link to what they cannot bear to leave behind. Many tattoo artists even offer a child’s face put into an angelic form. Some can even use a picture of a child and recreate it. It is a way to preserve the memory of the beloved one.
